Candle care – how to burn your candle correctly

⚠️ For the best and safest use of your scented candle:

  • Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn to ensure a clean, even flame and reduce soot.
  • Burn the candle for no more than 3–4 hours at a time so the fragrance spreads evenly and the candle lasts longer.
  • Allow the entire wax surface to melt during the first burn to prevent tunnelling and ensure an even burn.

  • Never leave a burning scented candle unattended.
  • Always keep a safe distance between burning candles.
  • Do not place the candle in drafts or near heat sources.
  • Always use a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep away from flammable materials.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Never move a candle while it is burning.
  • Extinguish the flame by snuffing it rather than blowing it out.
  • Never use liquids to extinguish a candle.
  • Keep the melted wax free from wick trimmings, matches and debris.
  • Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each use.
  • Discontinue use when about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the container.
