I started Moony Flames in autumn 2024 out of a pretty big love for fragrance – and everything a scent can do to an ordinary moment.
A scent can take you back to a place you had almost forgotten. Freshly brewed coffee early in the morning, a forest after the rain, or something freshly baked in a little café.
Those are exactly the kinds of moments I try to capture in my handmade scented candles.
Moony Flames is for those of us who probably romanticize everyday life a little too much.
For those who light a scented candle on an ordinary Tuesday. Who think coffee simply tastes better from a favourite mug. And who stop for a moment when it starts to rain, just because the air suddenly smells different.
My fragrances are inspired by exactly those moments – memories, places and the little everyday moments worth holding on to a little longer.
Every Moony scented candle is handmade by me in small batches in my studio in Strömby, Småland.
I make my handmade scented candles using ProTerra-certified soy wax, carefully selected fragrance oils and cotton wicks. Every combination is thoroughly tested for an even burn and a beautiful scent that fills the room without becoming overwhelming.
My wax melts are made from rapeseed and coconut wax.
No mass production. Just lots of small decisions, testing and attention to detail behind every finished candle.

Quality without shortcuts.
I choose my ingredients and materials with care and test every fragrance until the result is something I would genuinely want in my own home. Small-batch and handmade can be simple – but never careless.
Transparency.
You should know what you’re bringing into your home. That’s why I’m open about ingredients, materials, allergen information and safety. No pretty wording designed to hide what’s actually inside the product.
Animals are friends.
All Moony products are vegan and cruelty-free. To me, that’s pretty simple: no animal should have to suffer just because we want our homes to smell good.
Everyday luxury more people can enjoy.
I don’t think a handmade scented candle should have to be a big investment. Those little moments of everyday luxury should have a place in ordinary life too. That’s why I try to keep my prices as accessible as possible – without ever compromising on quality.
Fragrances with personality.
I don’t create fragrances expecting everyone to love everything. I’d much rather help you find that one scent that feels completely right for you.

There’s no big factory or anonymous team behind Moony. I make my scented candles by hand in small batches in Småland, Sweden, test and label them, and pack every order myself.
