What are wax melts?

Wax melts, also called scented wax melts, are small pieces of fragranced wax that are melted in a wax melt burner or aroma lamp to release fragrance into the room.

Unlike scented candles, wax melts do not have a wick and do not burn. Instead, the wax gently melts in the burner and releases its fragrance as it warms.
