Pain Au Chocolat is a gourmand scented candle inspired by the delicious aroma of a French bakery where freshly baked pastries fill the air.

As the candle burns, it releases a warm and inviting fragrance of buttery pastry and rich dark chocolate. The scent is soft, full and gently sweet – just like the moment when a freshly baked pain au chocolat is broken open and the chocolate slowly melts into the golden layers of pastry.

This hand-poured soy candle is perfect for those who love bakery and gourmand fragrances. The blend of buttery, chocolatey and lightly vanilla notes creates a warm and cozy atmosphere at home that feels both comforting and luxurious.

All Moony Flames candles are hand-poured in small batches in my studio in Småland, Sweden and made from 100% Swedish soy wax. Soy wax burns cleaner than many other waxes and allows the fragrance to spread evenly and softly throughout the room.

Candle Care

⚠️ For best and safest use:

  • Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn
  • Burn the candle for a maximum of 3–4 hours at a time
  • Allow the entire surface to melt during the first burn to prevent tunneling

  • Keep the melted wax free from debris and impurities
  • Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use
  • Discontinue use when approximately 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom
  • Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or young children
