Where are you based?

Moony Flames has its small studio in Strömby, Torsås – in the heart of Småland, Sweden.
Here, every candle is hand-poured with care, patience, and a touch of magic.

When will I receive my order?

We ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with delivery details. Delivery times depend on your location and the shipping method selected.

How can I pay?

You can pay securely with Klarna, where you can choose the option that suits you best – card payment, invoice, or instalments.

We also accept cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex and more), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment methods depending on your country, such as iDEAL and Bancontact.

Are your candles safe to burn all day?

Yes – our candles are as safe as they can be when it comes to ingredients.
They are soot-free, phthalate-free and paraben-free, containing no harmful substances that affect your air quality.

There is no risk in burning our candles for longer periods (unless you are allergic to a specific ingredient).

However, the recommended burn time of 3–4 hours applies to the glass vessel itself, not the wax.
The glass can become quite hot after several hours, so always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface or mat.

Many of our customers enjoy their candles for longer without any issues, but we recommend pausing between burns and allowing the glass to cool before lighting it again.

All our candles are test-burned from start to finish in their vessels to ensure a safe and even burn.

We have never experienced glass cracking – though it can get very warm, which is completely normal.

How long does it take to receive my order?

All orders are shipped within 48 hours (working days).
Delivery times vary depending on your location.

What should I do if my order is damaged upon delivery?

If your order has been damaged during shipping, please contact us as soon as possible. Please include photos of both the product and the packaging, so we can assist you in resolving the issue as smoothly as possible.

Are your packaging materials environmentally friendly?

Yes, we do our best to minimise our environmental impact.
We reuse all packaging materials, including plastic, to reduce waste.
These materials come from our own deliveries – nothing is newly purchased.

Our packing chips are made from cornstarch, fully biodegradable and dissolve in water.
We always aim to use as little packaging as possible and choose sustainable options –
to be kind to both you and the planet.

How does Moony Flames approach safety and chemical thresholds?

All scented candles sold within the EU are subject to the same chemical regulations and safety requirements.

Some fragrance compositions remain below the thresholds that require hazard labelling, while others exceed them and must therefore display warning pictograms.

When selecting fragrances for Moony Flames, we follow the precautionary principle.

If it is possible to create the same scent experience – in terms of fragrance, atmosphere and quality – with a lower classified risk profile, we choose those options.

In practice, this means we actively work with:

  • fragrance compositions that remain below labelling thresholds
  • balanced concentrations suitable for home environments
  • clear and accurate information for our customers

Our goal is to create scented candles that can be enjoyed regularly in everyday life, with as little unnecessary exposure as possible – without compromising the sensory experience.
